Chatpata Makhana  is yummy and appetizing crispies made with lotus seed or foxnut. A very simple, quick and healthy  snack. You can have this chatpata makhana with tea or coffee.

NOTE : Chatpata makhana can be stored in airtight jar for a week.

Pure ghee can be replaced with any vegetable oil.

Ingredients

  • Makhana / foxnut- 1cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1/5 tsp
  • Red Chilly powder - 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Chat masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Pure Ghee - 2 tbsp

Method

Step 1

Heat ghee in a kadai. Add makhana and roast for 8-10 minutes on medium flame.
