Omelette a breakfast recipe, I believe this is a recipe where you can do number of variation, as per your taste. It is quite common for a omelette to be folded around with fillings like cheese, meat or vegetable. If you count calories then discard yellow part and make fluffy omelette with egg white only.
In Roasted pepper omelette I have used roasted red bell pepper. This gives Roasted pepper omelette a different taste.
- Egg- 2 nos.
- Red Bell Pepper - half
- Onion - 1 tbsp chopped
- Milk - 1 tbsp
- Cheddar Cheese - 1 tbsp grated
- Salt as per taste
- Black pepper powder - optional
Roast the bell pepper direct on the gas stove flame. Keep on rotating the bell pepper in between .
Once the outer layer gets blackened or charred, remove it from flame.Let it cool,and chop the pepper
In a bowl whisk egg milk and salt.
Now heat WONDERCHEF granite frying pan, grease it with oil or butter then add chopped onion and bell pepper.
Saute for 1-2 minutes on medium flame until onion turns translucent .Then pour whisked egg on the vegetables.
And lower the flame. Once the egg starts to set put grated cheese on half of the omelette. Fold the omelette and cook for another 1 minute.
(If you want flip the omelette and cook another side for 10-15 second. then put cheese and fold.)
Roasted pepper omelette is ready to serve.
